About us

The Club started out in 1977, originally as the FX-FJ Car Club.  The very first meeting was held at the rear of the Bundaberg Bearing Service Centre in Electra Street. There were around 18 members who founded the Club, one of which is still in the Club, Gary Cooney, and he still owns an FJ.

Due to decline in FX-FJs in the 1980’s the Club decided to become the Bundaberg Early Holden Club in 1988 and became incorporated in 1997.

Throughout the years the Club has grown to nearly 100 members at present. We hold an Annual All Holden Day on the 2nd Saturday in May each year. Enthusiasts travel from NSW, as far away as Richmond, FWQ and many areas in between. This Car Show is always a number one priority with Holden owners and admirers.

Club members enjoy many outing throughout the year, including BBQs, camp out, fun runs, fundraising days as well as members attending various Car Shows, Swap Meets and displays.  Our Club objects are to promote, restore and have an interest in Holdens. We are a family orientated Club and welcome anyone who owns, has an interest or passion for Holdens, to join our Club.

Meetings are held on the 2nd Sunday of the month (except January) at Across the Waves Sports Complex, Thabeban Street, Bundaberg.
